Kimberley Sherry Gann, 43, of Etna Green, Ind., passed away at 12 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013, in her home with her family by her side. She had courageously fought a long battle with cancer.

Kim was born the daughter of Thomas D. McKenna and Violet Glassburn McKenna on Nov. 7, 1969, at South Bend, Ind. She had worked at the Bourbon truck stop as a waitress for several years and most recently worked at Martin’s Supermarket in Nappanee, Ind., as a cashier. Kim married Shane Gann on June 21, 2008. She has been a resident of Etna Green since September 2001. She loved to collect angels and cows, and enjoyed her flowers and gardening.

Kim is survived by her husband: Shane; three daughters: Autumn McKenna, Plymouth, Ind.; and Tiffany Gann and Anna Gann, both at home; and a son: Nathan Calhoun, Osceola, Ind.; three grandchildren: Wynter, Braxton and Devin; her mother: Violet, Culver, Ind.; her father: Thomas, Ullin, Ill.; her in-laws: David and Karen Pedzinski, Elkhart, Ind.; sisters: Tami McKenna, South Bend; Jeani Ethridge, Dongola, Ill.; Debbie (Brian) Hale, Mishawaka, Ind.; and her brother: Paul McKenna, Culver.

Kim was preceded in death by her brothers: Thomas and James.

Visitation is being held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, in Bourbon United Pentecostal Church, 201 N. Bourbon St., Bourbon. A funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. in the church with Pastor Mark Cottrill officiating. Burial will be in the Etna Green Cemetery, Etna Green, Ind.
