Faulkner #1Florence Faulkner, 89, of Bourbon, Ind., and formerly of Atwood, Ind., passed away at 12:40 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013, in Miller’s Merry Manor Nursing Home of Plymouth, Ind.

Florence was born April 12, 1924, at Bremen, Ind., to Arthur C. and Mabel May Mitchel. Florence was a graduate of Bremen High School in the class of 1942.

She worked at the telephone office, J.C. Penny’s at Plymouth and at Weiland Design of Goshen where she supervised sewing. She also was a member of the Winnebago Club.

On Oct. 6, 1942, she joined in marriage to Warren G. Faulkner, who died Sept. 17, 2010.

Surviving are three daughters: Sharon (Larry) Lemler, Bourbon, Ind.; Connie (Jerry) Lozier, Tippecanoe, Ind.; Jackie (James) White, Hunt, Texas; and a son: Terry (Bev) Faulkner, Winona Lake, Ind.; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her step mother: Gladys (Soales) Mitchel; and her husband: Warren.

There will be no services at this time. A private family burial ceremony will take place in Sand Ridge Cemetery, Bourbon.
