High Water Closes Roads
Heavy rains overnight kept county officers and county highway officials busy investigating reports of flooded roads and placing road closed signs.
The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for Kosciusko County until 12:15 p.m. NWS Radar and spotters estimated between 2 inches and 5 inches of rain fell overnight.
Flooding in low lying areas is being reported. Several county roads have been closed due to high water and others are seeing heavy ponding. In Kosciusko County, the following roads, as of 7 a.m. are currently closed due to flooding, according to the Kosciusko 911 Communications:
- SR 19 at CR 700S
- CR 200W and CR 700S
- CR 500W and CR 525S
- CR 475E and CR 300N
- Old Road 30E and CR 300E
- CR 275E and CR 225S
- SR 14 west of SR 15
- 3233 W. Crystal Lake Road
- 641 Walter Way, Warsaw
- 1780 Rozella Road, Warsaw
