WARSAW – Warsaw Community High School senior Josh Frantz has signed a letter of intent to attend Ancilla College in the fall and will play baseball for the Chargers and coach Joe Yonto.

Frantz, a sure-handed infielder that provided both speed and pop to the Warsaw Tigers’ lineup this season, led coach Mike Hepler’s squad in both RBI and doubles – driving in 18 runs and racking up seven doubles while finishing with a .301 average.

A two-year letterman for baseball, Frantz also wrestled for one season for the Tigers. He also served the community annually over the past four years with visits to Millers Merry Manor.

A member of the Building Trades program at WCHS for the past two school years, Frantz pounded, nails, fastballs and the books to earn WCHS Scholar Athlete distinction as a senior.  He intends to study Law Enforcement at Ancilla.
