Steven C. Shipley, 53, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 10:45 a.m. Friday, May 24, 2013, at his residence.

Steven was born on March 26, 1960, in Marion, Ind., to Curtis Jay Shipley and Kaythryn (Sparks) Shipley.

He was a resident of Kosciusko County, Ind., for the past 15 years,where he had worked as the assistant manager of Penguin Point in Warsaw. He had also previously worked at Taco Bell and Long John Silver’s.

He was a former member of Westview Wesleyan Church of Marion, Ind.

Steven is survived by a brother: Timothy Shipley, Silver Lake, Ind.; and two sisters: Lisa Shipley, Warsaw; and Tracey Flannery, Silver Lake.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.

No services are planned.
