Ted Bee Hazelwood, 83, Rochester, died at 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at his home.

In Elgood, W.Va., Ted was born Aug. 10, 1936, to Fred Sr. and Edna Akers Hazelwood.

Ted served with the United States Army and was honorably discharged in January 1961.

On March 18, 1961, Ted and Judy F. Wyrick married in West Virginia.

A celebration of his life will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8 at the First Baptist Church, Rochester. Dr. Mark Spencer will officiate. Graveside rites will be accorded by the Fulton County Veteran’s Honor Guard and the U.S. Army Military Honors Team.
