Bryce Lydell Hershberger

Bryce Lydell Hershberger, 26, of Rochester, passed away at 7:40 p.m., Monday, June 29, 2020, as a result of a motorcycle accident. He was born Aug. 25, 1993, in Elkhart, to Trent and Sheila (Slabaugh) Hershberger.

Bryce was a 2012 graduate of NorthWood High School. On May 29, 2013 he married Cathy Robertson in Plymouth. Bryce was employed at Kountry Wood Products. He attended Mill Creek Missionary Church. Bryce enjoyed hunting, fishing, bow-fishing, motorcycle riding, farming, and playing with his children. He enjoyed game nights with family and loved shooting guns. He loved to work; he was a very hard worker.

Surviving are his wife, Cathy Hershberger, Rochester; children, Natalie and Brayden Hershberger at home; father, Trent (Penni) Hershberger, Rochester; mother, Sheila Hershberger, Nappanee; sister, Tanya (Joe) Borkholder, Nappanee, Stacy (Joas) Yoder, North Liberty, brother, Craig Hershberger, Nappanee; paternal grandmother, Ida Mae Hershberger, Nappanee; maternal grandparents, Larry (Katie) Slabaugh, Nappanee; father-in-law, Mike Gaines, Bremen; two nephews and four nieces.

He was preceded in death by a paternal grandfather, Eugene Hershberger; mother-in-law, Julie Gaines.

Family and friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Thursday, July 2, and noon-1 p.m., Friday, July 3, at Sandy Ridge Mennonite Church. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m., Friday, July 3, also at the church.  Pastor Chris Beall, of Mill Creek Missionary Church, will officiate.  Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
