Nancy E. Owens, 86, of Warsaw, passed at 3:29 pm, Sunday, June 28, 2020, at her residence.

Nancy was born on July 11, 1933 in Kewanna, to the late Samuel and Yvonne (O’Dell) Ware.

She had been a factory worker and helped people in home health care as well as being a homemaker.  She was a graduate of Mentone High School.

Nancy enjoyed making dolls and being involved with activities at the senior center of Warsaw.

She is survived by her daughters: Debra (Ken) Pass, Waco, Texas; Lisa Owens, Louisville, Ky.; Shelly (Alexander) McMillian, Shipshewana; sons: Deron (Leslie) Kosloski, South Bend; Torre (Jusel) Owens, Churubusco; Dusty Owens, Warsaw; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters: Joyce (John) Sexton, Mentone; Dawn (Charles) Walton, Mentone; Sharlene Ross, Mentone.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Kevin Owens; a daughter, Marcie Compson; a sister, Sharon Gilbert.

A memorial service is being planned for a later date.

The arrangements are entrusted to King Memorial Home 101 North Tucker Street Mentone.

Memorial donations can be made in her memory to the Mentone Fire Dept.
