An ambulance manufacturer in Elkhart has announced it will end operations and let go of more than 160 workers. SJC Industries Corp. says the move will not affect its Goshen Coach Inc. facility.

SJC Industries was purchased by Florida-based Allied Specialty Vehicles Inc. from Thor Industries Inc. in Elkhart last week. The company expects the separations to be permanent.
