Ida M. Dotson, 83, of Akron, passed away at 3:55 a.m., Sunday, May 10, 2020, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw. Ida was born Dec. 15, 1936, in Floyd County, Ky. to Richard “Dick” and Ellen (Brown) Robinson. She was united in marriage to Andrew Dotson on December 24, 1974 in Floyd Co, Kentucky, who preceded her in death in 1991.

She has been a resident of Fulton County, IN since 1974. She worked as a machine operator for Bryan Manufacturing, North Manchester. Ida was a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle Church in Claypool.

Ida is survived by children, Diane (Jaime) Lozano of Warsaw; Faye (Thomas) Bradford of Mentone; William Jack Dotson of Cave Creek, Ariz.; Charlene (Paul) Kramer of Fort Wayne; 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew Dotson, sons, Andy Dotson, Robert Carl Clemons; seven brothers and four sisters.

A visitation for Ida will be held from 2-7 p.m., Wednesday, May 13, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.  A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 15, 2020 at noon at Dotson Family Cemetery, Floyd Co., Kentucky.  Burial will take place at the Dotson Family Cemetery.
