Whitko-Icon-130x130SOUTH WHITLEY – Ethan Nicodemus had a big night at the plate Wednesday to lead Whitko to another win on the diamond.

Nicodemus went a perfect 4-4 at the dish as the host Wildcats topped Rochester 10-2 in Three Rivers Conference prep baseball action.

Nicodemus also had four RBI and scored two runs for coach Erik Hisner’s squad in the league win.

Wyatt Wolf pitched a complete game four-hitter for the hosts, who are ranked No. 8 in Class 3-A. Wolf fanned six and walked just one in the victory.

Zach Snep was 2-4 with two RBI and two runs scored for the Wildcats.

Whitko improves to 18-7 overall and 4-3 in the TRC.

The Wildcats play a doubleheader Saturday at Prairie Heights starting at 10 a.m.
