
Gladys Mae (Harness) Hamilton, 59, Logansport, passed away peacefully at 6:40 a.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2020, surrounded by family.
Born on Oct. 30, 1960, in Plymouth, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Dwight and Rosezella Ann (Vermillion) Harness.
She was a former caregiver at Camelot Care Center and she enjoyed helping those with special needs. She was a simple person who loved her family and enjoyed the little things in life. She enjoyed elephants, racoons, watching wrestling on television and playing Bingo and Sudoku.
Survivors include her children: Crystal Vinson (Israel), Logansport; and Glenn Hamilton (Deborah), Logansport; a brother: Larry Harness (Patti King), Bass Lake; sisters: Vivian Grover, Plymouth; and Donna Minix, Monterey; a sister-in-law: Pat Harness, Plymouth; grandchildren: Kalvin Smith, Logansport; Dominic Smith, Peru; Shantel Smith, Kokomo; Shiane Smith, Logansport; and Houston Hamilton, Kokomo; great-grandchildren: Mylie Smith, Evelynn Smith and Xayvier Smith; and step-children: Shelby Foster-Callander and Justin Foster-Callander.
She was also preceded in death by her companion: William Callander on April 4, 2020; a sister: Sandy (Harness) Heater; brothers: Eugene Harness and Terry Harness; and brothers-in-law: Francis Heater, Roy Crull and Paul Minix.
There will be no visitation or service due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
