Idol Nite Raises Over $17,000
The numbers are in for this year’s Cancer Care Fund Idol Variety Nite. The event brought in $17,863 for Kosciusko County Cancer Care Fund.
The event on May 11, which has raised over $100,000 total for the fund, named Mike Beezley as the 2013 Idol Nite “People’s Choice” having raised the most funds through financial donations prior to the event and the night of the event.
All proceeds from Idol Nite benefit the Kosciusko County Cancer Care Fund which is dedicated to reducing the challenges facing cancer patients and their families by financially assisting them during their fight.
Beezley was among eight contestants who helped raise the funds. The other contestants were Karrie “Lynn” Burkhart, Briana Marshall, Sara Bowling, Jade Pulsipher, Heather Clemons, Sasha Beliles and Kylene Crabb, who was the “Judges Choice” winner.
