The North Webster Lady Lions are looking for young ladies between the ages of 16 and 23 to join in for the 2013 Queen of Lakes Pageant on Saturday, June 29. This years theme for the Mermaid Festival and pageants is The Land of Dixie – Southern Style.

The Queen of Lakes Pageant will consist of formal wear, theme wear and interview competitions. Scholarship money will be awarded to the top four contestants.

The pageant is part of the North Webster Mermaid Festival and is sponsored by the Homer Shoop Sports and Youth Foundation. Cash prizes will also be awarded to parade winners.

Over $5,000 will be awarded to winning contestants.
