Steven Lane Cullers, 78, Plymouth, formerly of Wabash, died at 6:09 p.m. Sunday, April 5, 2020, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Plymouth.

He was born Oct. 15, 1941, in Wabash, to Floyd Cullers and Marion (Moore) Smith.

He was a 1959 Wabash High School graduate and a US Army veteran. He first married Karen Fewell in McGrawsville on May 15, 1965; she died April 28, 1994. He then married Wilma Lee (Dyer) Smith in Wabash on Nov. 16, 1996; she died Sept. 18, 2002. He worked in the Service Department of Denney Motor Sales for 14 years; at Dorais Chevrolet, and also as a janitor at Metropolitan School District of Wabash County. He was a member of the Richvalley Lions Club and was an avid car enthusiast.

He is survived by his son: Phillip J. Cullers, Plymouth; four grandchildren: Addison Cullers and Brooklynn Cullers, both of Logansport; and Chloe Houghton and Cadance Houghton, both of Plymouth; and eight sisters: Sheila Ray, Jacksonville, Fla.; Lynn Long, Lake City, Fla.; Kathy Kato, Chesapeake, Va.; Teri Morgan, Cocoa, Fla.; Cheryl Larsen, Raleigh, N.C.; Cindy Johnson, Lakeland, Fla.; Michelle Wagle, Winter Haven, Fla.; and Rebecca Cullers, LaFontaine.

He was also preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash.
