Timothy C. “Tim” Kaase, 50, Syracuse, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2020, at his home. He was born on Jan. 5, 1970, in Santa Clara, CA to Frederick C. and Nerine A. (Seikert) Kaase.
He grew up in California and moved to the Syracuse and North Webster area in 2005 from Campbell, Calif. He graduated in 1988 from Valley Christian High School and from San Jose State University both in San Jose, Calif. He was employed at the Church of God in North Webster as building maintenance and head custodian for the past six years and formerly worked for the Elkhart County Corrections for ten years.
He was a member of the Church of God in North Webster and was president of Teen Parents Succeeding in Syracuse.
He is survived by his daughter, Kalyssa Kaase, North Webster; two sons: Tyson (Samantha Malik) Kaase, Omaha, Neb.; and Ian Kaase, North Webster; mother, Nerine Kaase, Syracuse.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Due to the current, unprecedented guidelines limiting public gatherings because of the COVID-19 virus, cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw. A public memorial service to celebrate his life will be scheduled at a later date.** Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN, is in charge of arrangements.
