Gary L. Adams, 59, of Akron, Ind., passed away at 11:20 a.m., Friday, Aug. 30, 2013 at his residence.

He is survived by his wife: Jeni Adams, Akron; daughter: Jamie Adams, Akron; son: Ryan (Chaitra) Adams, Akron; and a sister: Diane (Rick) Landis, Macy, Ind.

Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, at Hartzler Funeral Home, 305 W. Rochester St., Akron. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 4, at the funeral home. Pastor Terry Canfield will officiate. Burial will take place in Akron Cemetery, Akron.
