Lawrence W. “Doc” Frazier, 85, Millersburg, passed away at 9 a.m. on Sunday, March 1, 2020, at his home. He was born on July 12, 1934, in Nappanee, to Cleo and Estella (Pierce) Frazier.

He attended Syracuse public schools and lived most of his life in the Millersburg area. He was married on April 10, 1954, to Mary Elaine Sawyer who preceded him on March 7, 2019. He retired in 1999 from Goshen Rubber Company after 45 years.

He enjoyed pitching horseshoes, bowling, golfing, hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his four daughters: Darlene (Steve) Treat of Goshen, Karen (Ron) Butler, Debra (Greg) Long, and Joyce Frazier all of Millersburg; four grandchildren: Rhonda (Jeff) Wenger, Steven Treat, Amy Dickeson, and Robert Long; nine great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son, Lawrence Frazier, grandson, Todd Scelzo, great grandson, Brenden Dickeson, two sisters, Ruth Frazier and Delores Hayes, and three brothers, Cecil, Willard, and Lewis Frazier.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw. Visitation will be from 5 7 p.m. on Friday, March 6, at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Memorial services will follow at 7 p.m. on Friday in the funeral home with Pastor David Hathaway officiating. Burial will take place in the Syracuse Cemetery.
