Vickey Lynn Montgomery, 67, Cromwell, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2020, at Goshen Hospital in Goshen. She was born on Feb. 27, 1952, in Lagrange, to Wayne and Francis (Danielson) Lewis.

She lived most of her life in the Lagrange area and moved to Cromwell in 1992. She formerly attended Lakeland High School in Lagrange and she was married on May 3, 2003, in Syracuse, to John Montgomery who survives. She formerly worked at Millennium in Ligonier, for three years and Rinker Boat Company in Syracuse, for 18 years. She was a member of the American Legion Post #223 in Syracuse.

She is survived by her husband, John Montgomery, Cromwell; two daughters: Tracy (Mike) Varney of Syracuse and Stacy (Dave) Mullinger of Fort Wayne; two sons: Larry (Angie) Hicks of Syracuse and Kevin (Amie) Hicks of Churubusco; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; two sisters: Linda Brown and Martha (Eli) Knepp both of Lagrange; brother, Mike Lewis of Goshen

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister – Ruth Hoopingarner.

A celebration of life gathering will be held from noon-6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15, at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse.
