WARSAW – Quentyn Carpenter etched his name into the record books Thursday night.

The Triton golf star posted a school record performance in action at the Rozella Ford Golf Club.

Senior Carpenter fired a nine-hole total of 32 to set a school mark. He shot his medalist score on the par 35 front nine layout of Triton’s home course.

Carpenter, who will play at Ball State, led the way as the Trojans shot 149 to easily defeat Bremen (188), Culver (204) and Oregon-Davis (211). The Trojans are now 10-2 on the season.

Carpenter had shot a round of 73 Tuesday night at Rozella Ford to lead Triton to a third-place finish in the Joe Harris Shootout, which was hosted and won by No. 2 ranked Warsaw.
