Char Binkley, former WBCL radio host of the popular mid-morning program and founder of A Day Away retreat that ministered to tens of thousands of area women, will bring the Mother’s Day challenge at both the 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. services Sunday, May 12, at Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 210 S. High St., Warsaw.

From her varied experience as a radio personality, station manager, and founder of RemedyLIVE, a service to teens, Char is known for her practical presentations that actually “work” in the daily lives of those in her audience.

Mother’s Day is a time of tribute to mothers and Binkley speaks as a mother and grandmother who is successfully living out those roles. Many area women and men will recognize Char’s voice as one who brightened and enlightened their mornings via radio for many years.
