Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following accidents:
Thursday, May 2, 10:09 a.m. 617 South Buffalo Street. Drivers: Danielle R. Nulf, 24, East Levi Lee Road, Warsaw; and Amy Wildman, 21, Marjorie Street, Winona Lake. While Nulf was attempting to back out of a parking space, she backed into Wildman’s vehicle. Damages: up to $2,500
Thursday, May 2, 2:41 p.m. 3100 North Detroit Street. Drivers: Daniel S. Hancock, 29, North SR 13, Pierceton; and Chad E. Haviland, 25, Waterford Road, Wakarusa. Hancock was exiting his parking space when he pulled into Haviland’s path causing the two to collide. Damages: up to $2,500
Thursday, May 2, 4:03 p.m. 118 West Main Street. Drivers: Chad A. Long, 30, Cost A Plenty Road, Warsaw; and Bradlee M. Quick, Waterbrook Road, Fort Wayne. Long was backing his vehicle up when he struck into a legally parked vehicle registered to Quick. Damages: up to $2,500
Thursday, May 2, 4:14 p.m. Meadow Lane. Driver: Jaime V. Sanchez, 41, Meadow Lane, Warsaw. Sanchez was backing out of his driveway when he struck a parked, unoccupied vehicle owned by the Warsaw Street Department. Damages: up to $5,000
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department
Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following accident:
Thursday, May 2, 12:30 p.m. U.S. Highway 30 and North 800 West, Atwood. Drivers: Crystal M. Coe, 29, East South Street, Burket; Janice M. Lambert, East Market Street, Warsaw. Coe was southbound on CR 800 West crossing U.S. 30 when she failed to yield to Lambert, who was eastbound on U.S. 30, causing Lambert to strike the passenger side of Coe’s vehicle. Damages: up to $25,000
Winona Lake Police Department
Officers of the Winona Lake Police Department recently investigated the following accidents:
Thursday, April 2, 1:49 p.m. East Winona Avenue and Argonne Road. Drivers: Terry L. Vaughn, 40, South Lafayette Boulevard, South Bend; and Tracey L. Akers, 48, Old Orchard Drive, Warsaw. Akers was stationary in the eastbound lane of Winona Avenue at the Park Avenue intersection when she was rear ended by Vaughn’s vehicle. Damages: up to $2,500
