WARSAW —  Kosciusko Community Senior Services Executive Director David Neff was presented with a check for $2,424 on Tuesday, Jan. 28, by representatives of Miller’s Merry Manor of Warsaw.

The funds were raised for KCSS through a “Walkway of Trees” auction held in December. It was the first year for the event, which featured a selection of approximately 20 decorated Christmas trees donated by local businesses.

In addition to the auction fundraiser, Neff noted that Miller’s sponsors lunches and bingo prizes at the senior center.

“We appreciate all you do for the seniors in the community,” Miller’s Executive Director Anna Foster said to Neff. “You’ve got a big job and you deliver.”

“I appreciate that,” Neff said. “But when you love your job, you never work a day in your life.”
