Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department detectives went to Florida this week and arrested a Pensacola man on a felony charge of child molesting.

The investigation against Jessie Louis Buck III, 27, began Sept. 24, 2012, when a 10-year-old girl told a counselor at Bowen Center that Buck molested her in her bedroom of her Warsaw home. The girl alleged inappropriate touching had occurred nearly nightly over a period of two weeks.

Buck was interviewed by Warsaw Police Department detectives and said he observed the girl’s shorts had “gaped” open and he simply attempted to fix them when his hand brushed against her.

Buck was taken into custody and is in the Kosciusko County Jail on a $20,000 bond.
