Wabash Man Arrested On Child Seduction Charges
WABASH — On Wednesday, Jan. 15, a criminal investigation by Indiana State Police Detective Josh Maller resulted in the arrest of Charles G. Marseilles, Jr., 5233 S. CR 50E, Wabash.
Maller served Marseilles with a Wabash Circuit Court arrest warrant alleging felony charges for child solicitation by a childcare worker for sexual intercourse or other sexual conduct with a child; and child solicitation by a childcare worker engaged in fondling or touching of a child 16 to 17 years of age.
ISP started an investigation after receiving information from the Wabash County Division of the Indiana Department of Child Services that Marseilles, a former employee of the Whites Residential and Family Services facility, allegedly performed sexual acts on a 16-year-old resident of the facility.
The investigation revealed that in December 2019, Marseilles allegedly committed sexual acts on a 16-year-old boy. At the time, Marseilles was employed at the facility as a campus life specialist.
Marseilles is no longer employed at the Whites Residential and Family Services facility.
