James D. Kollars, 63, Rochester, passed away at 5:16 p.m., Monday, Jan. 13, 2020, in his residence. James was born on Nov. 27, 1956, in South Bend, to David and Carol (Edmonson) Kollars.

James attended Mishawaka High School. He served his country as a private in the U.S. Marine Corp.

James is survived by his wife, Debbie Holloway Bowyer Rochester; children, Sonny Kollars of Rochester; Sally Kollars of Mishawaka; Maggie Kollars of Mishawaka; siblings, Christine Quimby of Argos; Beth Kollars of Granger. He was preceded in death by both parents and brother, Steve Kollars of Alabama.

Visitation hours are scheduled from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Friday, Jan. 17, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. His funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. immediately following visitation at the Funeral Chapel. Pastor Todd Wilson will be officiating.
