The annual Kosciusko County Cancer Care Fund’s Idol Nite is set for 7 p.m. Saturday, May 11, at Wagon Wheel Theatre, Warsaw.

Contestants, who have been selected through previous auditions, will be performing a variety of songs for the audience’s pleasure.

This year’s contestants are Brianna Marshall, Sara Bowling, Heather Clemons, Sasha Beliles, Mike Beezley, Kylene Crabb, Karrie “Lynn” Burkhart and Jade Pulsipher.

People’s Choice Award winner will be determined by the total dollars the contestant raises. Each idol is given the opportunity to raise funds before the event and during the event the audience may vote for their favorite idol by putting money in the idol’s box set up in the lobby.

Money raised before and during the event is totaled together to determine who wins. People’s Choice winner is awarded a prize of $1,000. Judge’s Choice Award winner receives a plaque honoring them for their exceptional talent.

Online voting will be available through Paypal at www.k21foundation.org by clicking on the Idol Nite icon.

All net proceeds, 100 percent, will go directly toward helping families in Kosciusko County who are currently fighting cancer. This event is planned as a family night of fun supporting a great cause.

Tickets are available for purchase online at www.wagonwheeltheatre.org or at the Wagon Wheel Box Office, $14 for adults and $8 for children 12 and under. The doors will be open at 6 p.m. and the event will begin at 7 p.m. Pizza and beverages will be available for purchase at the concessions. Face painting will also be available and there will be performances by Deb Collier’s Dance troupe.

The mission of the KCCCF is to reduce the challenges facing cancer patients and their families by financially assisting them during their fight.
