Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following accidents:

Tuesday, April 30, 6:26 a.m. South Hunters Ridge, Warsaw. Driver: Teresa A. Oberlin, 46, South Hunters Ridge, Warsaw. Oberlin backed into a vehicle in her driveway. Damages: up to $5,000

Monday, April 29, 6:54 p.m. Sheldon Street. Drivers: Erick A. Rosales, 18, East 200 North, Warsaw; and Lynda J. Kelley, 49, Peru Road, Silver Lake. Rosales was backing from a parking space and backed into Kelley’s vehicle. Rosales was cited for operating without ever receiving a license. Damages: up to $10,000

Monday, April 29, 12:45 p.m. East Winona Avenue and South Buffalo Street. Drivers: Cindy D. Guechi, 54, North 175 East, Warsaw; and Tina L. Conley, 37, Western Drive, Winona Lake. Guechi was attempting to turn into a parking lot but a truck was obstructing her view and she pulled into the path of an oncoming vehicle, driven by Conley. Guechi was pulling into an area marked with “Do Not Enter” signs. Damages: up to

Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department
Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following accidents:

Tuesday, April 30, 12:45 a.m. Barbee Road, Leesburg. Driver: Shawn C. Smoker, 25, EMS T7 Lane, Leesburg. Smoker backed into a driveway to turn around and backed into a vehicle. Damages: up to $2,500

Monday, April 29, 9:18 p.m. South 700 West, Burket. Driver: Milford E. Stephens, 64, West Justus Stephens Lane, Claypool. Stephens was driving his motorcycle southbound on the county road when a herd of deer crossed his path. He struck one of the deer. Stephens sustained a knee abrasion. Damages: up to $10,000

Monday, April 29, 12:46 p.m. West 900 North and North 300 West, Milford. Driver: Kevin A. Pfeiffer, 21, West 225 North, Etna Green. Pfeiffer said he moved over to give a passing semi more room and his vehicle’s tires got caught in the soft shoulder. He struck several fence posts. Damages: up to $2,500
