Nelda L. Hubler, 75, North Manchester, Ind., passed away at 3:40 p.m. Monday, April 29, 2013 at Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester.

She was born Feb. 27, 1938, in Menifee County, Ky. to Elbert and Elizabeth (Griggs) Carpenter. Nelda first married Henry Hatfield Sr., he is passed. She then married David Hubler, he is also deceased.

She was a homemaker and had worked at United Technologies, North Manchester, Ind. She was a member of Claypool Full Gospel Tabernacle, Claypool, Ind.

She is survived by one son: Henry (Rebecca) Hatfield Il, Roann, Ind.; four daughters: Ramona (Wayne) Howard, Pierceton, Ind.; Tammy Mikel, Akron, Ind.; Sherri (Loy) Conley, Servia, Ind.; and Teresa (Troy) Cleveland, Milford, Ind.; two brothers: Donald Carpenter, North Manchester, Ind.; and Charlie Carpenter, Stirrat, W.V.; one sister: Laverna West, Stirrat, W.V.; seventeen grandchildren; and twenty-four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at the Claypool Full Gospel Tabernacle, 205 N. Main Street, Claypool. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 4, the church. Pastor Joe Necessary will officiate and burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Servia, Ind.
