Kosciusko County

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

6:22 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, Fox Farm Road, south of Southside Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Rosalie G. Kauffman, 60, Riverwood Ranch Road, Warsaw. Kaufmann was driving north on Fox Farm Road when a deer ran into the side of the vehicle. Damage up to $2,500. 

5:46 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, Main Street, south of Tucker Street, Mentone. Drivers: Michael C. Damron, 27, Westside Drive, Warsaw; and Shelby L. Howard, 19, Mallard Road, Mentone. Damron was backing his vehicle up and did not realize Howard’s vehicle was behind him. Damron’s vehicle struck Howard’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500. 

5:41 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, East CR 500N and EMS T11 Lane, North Webster. Driver: Donna K. Hare, 50, Circle Drive, Syracuse. Hare’s vehicle struck a deer. Damage up to $2,500.
