Warsaw Police Department
Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following incidents:
- Sunday, April 28, 3 a.m. An abandoned vehicle was found in the 100 block of North Detroit Street.
- Sunday, April 28, 1:40 p.m. Robert Benninghoff reported the theft of a license plate in the 100 block of Husky Trail.
- Sunday, April 28, 6:28 p.m. Police were called to the 1200 block of Provident Drive where an individual was placed in Bowen Center for an emergency detention.
- Sunday, April 28, 1:12 a.m. A Warsaw woman reported an argument with her ex-boyfriend, who left prior to officers arrival. Carl Grisby was later stopped by police and arrested for OWI.
- Saturday, April 27, 7:40 p.m. Michael Harrell reported the theft of a deck chair from a porch at 1200 block of Ranch Road.
- Saturday, April 27, 7:30 p.m. Dakotah Shepherd reported finding a wallet in the 2100 block of East Fort Wayne Street.
- Saturday, April 27, 2:30 a.m. Officers were called to a 911 call to a residence in the 1900 block of East Market Street. There, they located a minor female and took her into custody for illegal possession of alcohol.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department
Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following incidents:
- Sunday, April 28, 2:11 p.m. Nicolas Hernandez reported the theft of wood from a residence in the 13400 block of North Main Street, Milford.
- Saturday, April 27, 8:08 p.m. Officers were called to the 5900 block of West Wood Duck Drive, Mentone, where a fight among juveniles was reported at the boat launch.
- Saturday, April 27, 5:59 a.m. Kimberly Haradon of North Webster reported a theft of money.
- Saturday, April 27, 1:23 a.m. Anjum Dada of Syracuse reported the theft of a laptop computer from his residence in the 8100 block of East Sunrise Drive.
- Friday, April 26, 7:28 a.m. Police were called to a residence in the 5600 block of South Woodland Lane, Warsaw, for a possible kidnapping. Thomas Edward Skeens, 43, of Claypool, was named a potential suspect.
