Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following accidents:
Monday, April 29, 1:29 a.m. SR 15 and U.S. 30. Driver: Marcus D. Croy, 28, Spring Street, Fort Wayne. Croy was northbound on SR 15 when he fell asleep. His truck struck the concrete median of the highway. He was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital for complaint of abdominal pain. Damages: up to $50,000
Saturday, April 27, 2:17 p.m. Walton Boulevard. A parked vehicle was struck by a vehicle that left the scene. Damages: up to $2,500

Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following accidents:
Sunday, April 28, 6:20 p.m. South County Farm Road, Warsaw. Driver: Amika J. Bolen, 18, East Sycamore Street, Silver Lake. Bolen said she was southbond on County Farm Road when a red truck traveling in the opposite direction came across the center lane. Bolen swerved to avoid a collision and lost control of her car, which rolled onto the driver’s side in a ditch. Damages: up to $5,000
Saturday, April 27, 9:30 p.m. SR 13 and East Shoop Road, Warsaw. Driver: Kathy L. Alexander, 59, Lawndale Street, Plymouth. Driver struck a deer. Damages: up to $5,000
Saturday, April 27, 6:27 a.m. SR 13 and East Shoop Road, Warsaw. Driver: Jason M. Scott, 35, EMS T52A Lane, North Webster. Driver struck a deer. Damages: up to $10,000
Saturday, April 27, 1:55 p.m. West 800 South, Burket. Driver: Chloie E. Engledow, 24, South Hill Drive, Silver Lake. Driver struck deer. Damages: up to $5,000
Saturday, April 27, 5:05 a.m. South 600 West, Silver Lake. Driver: Jordan McKee, 21, North Main Street, Fairmont. McKee said a deer ran into his path causing him to swerve and lose control of the vehicle, which left the road and collided with a utility pole. McKee left the scene of the accident and told police he went to a nearby campground to try to call a friend. Damages: up to $25,000
Saturday, April 27, 9:12 a.m. North 150 West and Fox Farm Road, Warsaw. Drivers: Jose M. Gomez, 47, North 150 West, Warsaw; and Mary Jane Prater, 49, Canterbury Lane, Warsaw. Gomez was looking at a paper and failed to notice Prater’s vehicle stopped to make a turn and rear-ended her car. Damages: under $1,000
Saturday, April 27, 12:28 a.m. U.S. 30 East, Warsaw. Driver: Richard W. Gensch, 45, South Washington Street, Pierceton. Driver struck a deer. Damages: up to $5,000
Syracuse Police Department
Officers of the Syracuse Police Department recently investigated the following accident:
Saturday, April 27, 5:47 p.m. 726 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. The driver of a black Ford Ranger was pulling from Lance’s New Market parking lot and struck a vehicle. The driver of the truck left the scene. Damages: less than $1,000
