SOUTH BEND — The Food Bank of Northern Indiana is getting help providing food to those in need during the holiday season.

Aunt Millie’s delivered 2,000 loaves of freshly-baked bread Tuesday.

The Food Bank has been working with Aunt Millie’s for 10 years, and it always make donations during the holiday season. The donation of this staple food item will help make the holidays easier for those in need.

“This is great because it’s sliced bread and very versatile for people who shop at food pantries so it’s a wonderful donation and will be quickly distributed,” said Mariijo Martinec, Food Bank of Northern Indiana Director and CEO.

Donations are always welcome at the food bank. You can donate food or money, or even some volunteer hours.
