WARSAW – Police are trying to identify and find a man captured on video while taking several packages from a porch in Warsaw Wednesday night.

The incident happened at about 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday along West Lake Street.

The man picked up several packages and briskly walked away from the door, the video showed.

Anyone who might recognize the suspect or saw a suspicious person on foot in the area at that time is asked to contact dispatchers at (574) 267-5667.

A post on the sheriff’s Facebook page points out it’s possible that the man in the video was not aware of the camera directly in front of him.
