Robert D. “Tinker” Ritenour, 64, Claypool, passed away at 9:45 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 5, 2019, in his residence. Robert was born on May 2, 1955 in Ranson, W. Va. to Claude and Genevieve (Dotson) Ritenour. He was married to Sherry Dials on May 17, 1985 in Hagerstown, Md. They were married for 34 years.

Robert has been a resident of Claypool since 2013. He retired from East Alcoa Aluminum, Baltimore, MD.

Robert is survived by his wife, Sherry Ritenour of Claypool; son, Robert D. Ritenour, JR. of Pennsylvania; three stepchildren, Beth Allen of Fort Wayne; Matthew Smith of Dayton, Ohio; Amanda Smith of Charlestown, W. Va.; and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by daughter, Melissa Newman, and his parents.

Private services will be held at a later date. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw is entrusted with his care.
