Dennis Dwayne Vandiver II, formerly of Warsaw, was affectionately known to his family as “Peeps,” passed away unexpectedly at 11:12 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 29, 2019, in Michigan City, at the age of 43.

He was born on Feb. 7, 1976, in Goshen, to Carolyn Jane (Vest) Wilson and Dennis Dwayne Vandiver.

Peeps was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, where he attended Wawasee High School in Syracuse. He worked in construction for the majority of his life. He was a loving father and son, and will be missed.

He is survived by his fiancée: Staci Willard, Warsaw; two sons: Braxton and Brody Vandiver, Warsaw; daughter: Adrienne Caldwell, Logansport; three grandchildren; father and step-mother: Dennis Dwayne and Debra Vandiver, Anderson; and his mother and step-father: Carolyn Jane and Kevin Wilson, Elkhart. He also leaves behind his brother: Marcus Vandiver, Frankton; and two sisters:  Julie (Sherman) Dalton, Statesville, N.C.; Misty Neal, North Webster.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Christy Vandiver and his grandparents.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 4, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.

Those wishing to contribute, memorial donations will be designated to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, IN 46580 to go towards funeral expenses.
