WINONA LAKE — Dozens of Winona Lake residents attended The Village at Winona’s annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 30.

Parents and children stayed warm with hot chocolate while also giving back to the community by donating new and unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots.

While enjoying music from Christmas carolers and a Stinson organ, children enjoyed a craft in a cozy pavilion and made Christmas tree ornaments. Santa Claus also stopped by to hand out candy canes to all the kids on his nice list.

To conclude the afternoon’s festivities, a tree next to LetterWood Paper Company was lit, adorned with Christmas lights and a bright star on top.
