SYRACUSE – The Andy Kryder era got underway in fine fashion Tuesday evening, overseeing Wawasee’s 116-69 win over East Noble in the girls swim opener.

Wawasee had double winners from Ella Park in both the 200 and 500 freestyles, and from Rileigh Atwood in both the individual medley and breaststroke.

Kryder noted other standout performances from Lily Tyler and Jordan Gibbs as well as swims from Kiah Farrington in the 50 free and Alexis Mishler in the backstroke.

Wawasee (1-0) will jump into Northern Lakes Conference work Saturday with a visit to Warsaw.
