Jose G. Pacheco, 69, Ligonier, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019, at Avalon Village in Ligonier. He was born on March 23, 1950, the son of Esteban Pacheco and Hilaria Garcia in Aguascalientes, Mexico.

Jose is survived by his wife Rebecca Lopez De Pacheco; four sons, Jose Pacheco, Esteban Pacheco, Julio Pacheco and Antonio Pacheco, all of Ligonier; three daughters, Lesly Pacheco of Ligonier; Marissa Pacheco of Ligonier; Jocelyn Pacheco of Aguascalientes, Mexico; four grandchildren; and many brothers and sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jose was a man of the people. He was hard working and a jack of all trades. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix. Jose was active and lively; he valued the time he spent with his grandchildren whom he cared for greatly. He was a simple, humble and traditional man. He enjoyed Clint Eastwood western movies as well as Saturday morning Tom and Jerry sessions. He also made some of the best French toast his kids have ever had. He will be truly missed.

A funeral service will be held in Jose’s honor at 3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 30, at Yeager Funeral Home in Ligonier. Family and friends will be received from 1-3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 30.
