WARSAW — A non-profit counseling service that started 23 years ago has moved from Winona Lake to Warsaw.

LifeTouch Ministries and Counseling Center had been sharing space with Spanish World Ministries on East Pierceton Road in Winona Lake.

On Wednesday, Darla France, director of counseling and training, and her husband, Jeff France, who serves as executive director, hosted ribbon-cutting with the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce officials and others at the new location at 2510 E. Center Street.

LifeTouch Ministries moved to Center Street in September and re-opened in October.

LifeTouch Ministries offers Masters-level counseling that is Biblically based. Seven counselors focus on a variety of specialty areas such as trauma, depression, addiction and family counseling and counseling geared to children, men and women.

Services are charged on a sliding scale based on ability to pay.

Darla France said they received plenty of support as they moved and renovated their new home.

“The outpouring of people in the community who donated services and time and goods …. it’s been incredible,” she said.
