Kosciusko County

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

6:57 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, Wooster Road, west of Joshua Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Joshua M. Tooley, 33, Robby Drive, Warsaw. Tooley’s vehicle struck a deer. Damage up to $5,000. 

7:36 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18, North CR 650W, south of West CR 100N, Warsaw. Driver: James J. Poyser, 45, Harrison Street, Atwood. Poyser’s vehicle struck a deer. Damage up to $5,000. 

4:11 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18, SR 15, Warsaw. Driver: Theodore King, 60, Front Street, Fort Wayne. King’s vehicle struck a deer. Damage up to $2,500. 

8:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 18, SR 15, Milford. Driver: Jose Contreras-Orozco, 43, Ohio. Street, Gary. Contreras-Orozco said a deer entered the roadway, resulting in his vehicle going off the right side of the road and striking a fence and a tree. Damage up to $5,000. 

6:24 a.m. Monday, Nov. 18, South CR 275E, Warsaw. Driver: Jerry J. Good, 53, Heckathorn Drive, North Manchester. Good’s vehicle struck a deer. Damage up to $5,000. 

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

11:21 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, Argonne Rod, north of Durbin Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Judith A. Brown, 80, Widaman Street, Winona Lake; and Mary Lou Gavin, 62, Hunters Ridge, Warsaw. Brown’s vehicle rear-ended Gavin’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
