Pamela ‘Pam’ Ann Ward

Pamela “Pam” Ann Ward, 77, Warsaw, passed away surrounded by family at 10:40 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019.

She was born on May 26, 1942, in South Bend, to Vonnie “Betty” (Martindale) Floor and Ernest Floor. On May 10, 1980, she was married to Ted Leon Ward, he passed away on Jan. 23, 2001.

Pam was a resident of Kosciusko County, for 46 years coming from Niles, Mich. In 1987 she moved to California and lived there for six years before returning to Warsaw. She worked as a credit manager at Kosciusko Community Hospital for a number of years, she also worked at Murphy Medical Center and Sparling Instruments in California. From 1980-1983 she proudly served as the Clerk Treasurer for Kosciusko County. She enjoyed being a member of the American Legion Post #43 Auxiliary in Warsaw. She will be fondly remembered by her family as a loving mother and grandmother who always had something to smile about. She will be dearly missed by all.

She will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters: Stacy (Thomas) Shelton, Atlanta, Ga.; Nicki Murphy, Fishers; son: Bill (Debra) Scott, Warsaw; and four step-daughters: Debra (Mick) Wellborn, Warsaw; Brenda (Bill)Tech, Cleona, Penn.; Terri (Gary) Amos, Cleona, Penn.; and Tami (Jim) Hawkins, Norman, Okla. Also surviving are six grandchildren: Kacy Beasley, Ann Spear, Danyelle Barrett, Janna Scott, Sara Crider, Sally Shelton; ten step-grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and seventeen step-great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brother: Mark (Karen) Floor, Standish, Maine; and two sisters: Dee Finn, New Florence, Mo.; Merry (Milt) Simmons, Charlotte, Mich.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Ernest Floor, and her daughter, Leeann Scott.

Pam Ward’s life will be celebrated with a memorial service at 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 16, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw. Friends and family may visit an hour prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. Burial will follow with a graveside service on Saturday, Nov. 16, at 1:30 p.m. at Mentone Cemetery in Mentone.
