WARSAW — Firefighters and officers responded to a report of a vehicle in Tippecanoe River this morning.

At approximately 7:20 a.m. Friday, Nov. 8, Atwood Fire Department and Warsaw Police Department received a report of a possible water rescue. Initial dispatch reports said a school bus driver noticed a car in Tippecanoe River, in the area of North CR 350W.

According to firefighters at the scene, the driver of the vehicle was unharmed and was located by a detective at a residence.

Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, Warsaw Dive Team and Indiana DNR also responded to the scene.
