BOURBON – The Triton girls tennis team dropped a 5-0 final to Bremen Monday.
The undefeated Lions won a pair of three-set matches to earn the Northern State Conference win.
Alexa Harshberger rallied for a 3-6, 6-2, 6-1 win over Carrie Slabaugh of Triton at No. 2 singles for Bremen, now 2-0 overall and also 2-0 in the NSC.
The Bremen No. 1 doubles team of Haley Foster and Cassie Sears rallied past Marissa Ross and Savannah Baker 4-6, 6-2, 6-1.
Morgan Smith defeated Kaelyn Mason 6-2, 6-1 at No. 1 singles for the Lions. Andrea Strehler topped Michal Sherer-Berry 6-2, 6-0 at No. 3 singles.
The No. 2 doubles team of Heidi Prawat and Haley Moren won 6-2, 6-4 over Cassie Irons and Shayla May.
Bremen won the JV competition 2-0.
Triton drops to 1-3 overall and 0-2 in conference play.
