North Webster

Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following accidents:

10:22 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, East Backwater Road, east of EMS W26 Lane, North Webster. Driver: Jonathon G. Conley, 45, North Jefferson Street, Silver Lake. Conley was traveling east on Backwater Road when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $5,000.

3:24 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, South Dixie Drive, near EMS W33 Lane, North Webster. Drivers: Sharlie J. Julian, 18, North CR 925E, North Webster; and Amber M. Alfano, 26, Biblers Avenue, Winona Lake. Julian was facing west on EMS W33 Lane and attempted to turn south onto South Dixie Drive when she struck Alfano’s vehicle. A passenger in Alfano’s vehicle, Valerie Vallejo, 3, North Webster, sustained a bruise on her forehead and was checked by EMS at the scene. Damage up to $10,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

9:32 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, Market Street, south of High Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Abri A. Mejia, 20, West 1C Road, Walkerton; and Angel L. Queen, 29, South Jefferson Street, Leesburg. Mejia was traveling south on High Street when she struck Queen’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

7:24 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, North SR 15, north of East US 30, Warsaw. Drivers: John W. Harrelson, 17, East Deerwood Court, Warsaw; and Steven D. Harges, 50, East Barrington Place, Warsaw. Harrelson was traveling south on North Detroit Street when he rear-ended Harges’ vehicle. Harges complained of neck pain due to the accident. Damage up to $2,500.

Winona Lake

Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accidents:

7:01 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, Kings Highway, near Wooster Road, Winona Lake. Drivers: George H. Sapen, 52, Old Colony Road, Warsaw; and Cassidy L. Wasson, 21, Elderwood Avenue, Tipp City, OH. Sapen was attempting to turn left toward Wooster Road when he struck Wasson’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

12:05 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, CR 700N, east of CR 200E, Leesburg. Driver: Amber R. Harman, 21, South CR 200W, Claypool. Harman was traveling east on CR 700N when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $2,500.

4:03 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, South SR 13, south of South CR 525E, Pierceton. Driver: Thomas R. Macy, 56, West Columbia Street, Flora. Macy was traveling south on SR 13 when his vehicle struck a guardrail. Macy was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital for neck and rib pain. Damage up to $5,000.
