Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department
Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following incidents:

• Sunday, April 21, 6:30 p.m. Police were called to a home in the 100 block of Warner Drive, Claypool, where a 33-year-old man, Jeffery Jones, was found deceased. The death is under investigation but police say it does not appear to be suspicious.
• Sunday, April 21, 11:07 a.m. Eddy Tridle of Mentone reported the theft of metal and tools from his family’s old stockyard.
• Saturday, April 20, 3:05 a.m. Deputies were called to Danny’s Sports Bar on North Barbee Road, Warsaw, where a fight had occurred in the parking lot. One person, Trevor Scott Brown, 27, of North Webster, was arrested and charged with felony battery resulting in serious bodily injury. Police had no information on the 21-year-old victim, Chase Farmwald.

Warsaw Police Department
Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following incidents:

• Saturday, April 20, 10:21 p.m. Police were called to Murphy Oil on North Detroit Street where two people were arrested for fraudulently using debit/credit cards. Delanie Jones, 43, of LaPorte, and Donaver Jones, 42, of Gary, were arrested.
• Saturday, April 20, 8:23 p.m. Officers were called to the 600 block of East Clark Street where a bicycle was found abandoned.
• Saturday, April 20, 2:15 p.m. Police were called to a report of a battery in the 900 block of Oak Brook Place.
• Saturday, April 20, 2:22 p.m. Vicki Harmon reported a possible fraud.
