Jerry Moon Mullins, 68, an amazing son, husband, father and grandfather and a resident of Weatherford, died, Oct. 25, 2019, at his home after a long bout of cancer.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, at Trinity Bible Church, 4936 I-20 East Service Road South, Willow Park 76087.

Mr. Mullins was born Jan. 13, 1951 in Rochester, to John and Peggy Mullins and was raised by John and step-mother, Patricia Mullins in Etna Green.

He was a 1969 graduate of Triton High School in Bourbon. He graduated in 1973 from Purdue University with an Aviation Electronics Degree and Business Management degree. He was a member of Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity.

He met Nancy Oldfield of Carmel, they fell in love and were married on Dec. 23, 1973. They spent many wonderful years together raising their family.

He was a supervisor for Texas Instruments from 1973 – 1978; he was in management with General Dynamics from 1978 – 1993; CEO President for Heli-dyne Systems from 1993 – 2004; President CEO for Enstrom Helicopter Corporation from 2004 – 2014; and a Consultant for KMI Fabricators Inc. from 2014 – 2019.

He was a faithful member of Trinity Bible Church. He enjoyed playing golf, tennis, and basketball. He also enjoyed boating and RC helicopters. He was a problem solver, enjoying working with his hands to repair and build any and everything.  Jerry was happiest when spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret (Peggy) Lindly Mullins; father, John Mullins; beloved son, Clinton Mullins; siblings, Judy Roberts of Kentucky, Joyce Wright of Argos; and Steve Hall of Etna Green.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Mullins; son, Matthew Mullins of Aledo; grandchildren, Bryleigh and Brayden Mullins, of Aledo; step-mother, Patricia Mullins; siblings, Terry Hall of Leesburg; Deborah Flenar of Warsaw; and Cynthia Clark of Pierceton; and many extended family members, co-workers and friends.
