PIERCETON —Pets of the Week are available for adoption at the Animal Welfare League at 1048 S. CR 325E, Pierceton.

Taco

Did you know that taco cat is taco cat spelled backward? Those types of words are called palindromes.

Taco the cat doesn’t seem to care about such things.  He is more interested in getting his cuddle on!  Taco is a one-year-old, neutered male, Domestic Shorthair mix weighing 7 pounds.  His grey and cream marbled coat compliment his copper eyes.  Taco loves attention and will immediately jump on to any available lap.  He will nuzzle your hands and face while he purrs a little kitty song.  He is also very curious and alert, rarely missing the goings-on in the free-roaming cat room.  Taco has done well with other cats, yet enjoys having some me time.  He would make the “purrfect” pet for any family or individual.

Taco’s adoption fee is $70
Filbert
With his white gloves and shiny black coat, Filbert is ready to hit the town.
This little bundle of fun is a three-year-old, neutered male, Terrier mix, weighing 16 pounds.  Filbert is a very inquisitive fellow who loves to go for walks and explore the outdoors. While Filbert has done well with people of all ages, he would prefer to be the only pet in the household. This sweet and spunky little boy would love to find his “furever” home soon. Anyone ready for a grand adventure?  Filbert will be by their side on the double!
Filbert’s adoption fee is $130.
