Leroy “Buck” Henwood, 79, Syracuse, passed away Oct. 12, 2019, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.

He was born Aug. 14, 1940, in Syracuse, to Franklin and Norma (Irwin) Henwood.

On Jan. 17, 1964, he married Judy Ray who preceded him in 2011. He was a veteran of the US Army. He owned and operated Crystalbrook Enterprises Gun Shop for many years.

He is survived by his three daughters: Karri Henwood of Syracuse; Kathy Henwood of Syracuse; and Bobbi Henwood of North Webster; one son: Stephen Henwood of Syracuse; 12 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters: Noreta Mort of New Harmony; and Anna (Richard) Clay of Warsaw.

Along with his wife, he was also preceded by one granddaughter and one great-grandson.

There will be a graveside service at 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Leesburg cemetery with Military Honors.
