SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WICS/WRSP) — A dog appears to be stuck at the top of the Pillsbury Mills plant in Springfield, as of Monday afternoon.

As of around 3:30 p.m., the dog was seen walking around the top, looking for a way to get down.

WICS and WRSP reporters were told that police and animal control are aware of the situation. They were contacted with a request for comment and have not responded.

There is no word yet on how the dog got up there or whether it suffered any injuries.

WICS and WRSP have a crew on scene and will bring more updates as they become available.
